PM Modi Pays Tribute to Brave Soldiers on Pulwama Anniversary: On the anniversary of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid heartfelt tribute to the brave CRPF soldiers who sacrificed their lives. Recalling their courage and patriotism, PM Modi said their dedication remains an inspiration for every Indian.

PM Modi’s Tribute

In a social media post on X, PM Modi wrote:
“Remembering the brave heroes who laid down their lives in Pulwama on this day in 2019. Their devotion, resolve and service to the nation will always remain etched in our collective minds. Every Indian draws strength from their courage.”

He added, “Hundreds of salutes to our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Pulwama on this day in 2019.”

Vice President Also Pays Homage

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also paid tribute, saying the soldiers’ sacrifice is forever etched in Indian history and will continue to inspire future generations. He wrote:
“I pay tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the Pulwama terror attack. Their supreme sacrifice will always remain in the memory of the nation and will continue to inspire us to build a strong and secure India.”

Remembering the 2019 Pulwama Attack

On February 14, 2019, a terrorist attack targeted a CRPF convoy on the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway in Pulwama, killing more than 40 soldiers. It was one of the deadliest attacks in recent history and escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, drawing global attention to cross-border terrorism and security in Jammu and Kashmir.

The day is observed as a “Black Day” to honor the 40 brave CRPF soldiers who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation.
