Jeetu Munda : Rajasthan BJP Minister To Give Jeetu Munda A Monthly Salary : Rajasthan’s Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has strongly condemned the incident of a tribal man carrying his sister’s skeleton to a bank in Kendujhar district to get a deposit. Terming the incident as a ‘stain’ on civil society, the minister has announced to give his one-month salary to the victim’s family.
It is worth noting that Jeetu Munda of Dayanali village of Erendei panchayat in Patna block of Kendujhar district had reached the Odisha Gramin Bank in Mallipshi village under Patna police station with his sister’s skeleton to provide proof of her death. He has been allegedly harassed by the bank for allegedly falsifying rules and paperwork to withdraw money from the bank. The video of him carrying the skeleton in the bank has gone viral on social media. Sharing the video on social media platform ‘X’, Minister Meena said that he is deeply saddened by the helplessness and pain of Jeetu Munda. Such mental torture of a poor tribal person in the name of government process is a disgrace to any civilized society. He has urged Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to take strict action against the culprits in this case. He said that he shares in Jeetu Munda’s grief and it is his duty to stand with him in this difficult time.
Very soon, his one month’s salary will be sent to the family of the victim. He opined that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to be vigilant so that no helpless person has to face such a situation in future.
