Malviya Nagar fire incident: Hotel owner arrested: The police have arrested the hotel owner Lavkesh Bajaj in connection with the fire incident in the Malviya Nagar hotel in Delhi. He is currently being interrogated in connection with the incident.

A team of Delhi Police was formed to nab Lavkesh and his two partners. These teams also raided many places in Delhi. Police also suspected that Lavkesh Bajaj may flee abroad out of fear of getting caught. Therefore Delhi Police issued a look-out circular against him.

At least 21 people died in the tragic fire at the restaurant in Malviya Nagar. Of these 21, nine were Indians while 12 were foreigners from countries such as Bangladesh, Liberia, Nigeria, and Mozambique.

The Delhi Police have sent a list of all foreign nationals to the Ministry of External Affairs to assist in the repatriation of their bodies to their home countries, according to the officials.
