A video from Maharashtra’s Raigad is going viral on social media. Amid heavy rainfall in Maharashtra, nearly 3,000 LPG cylinders, both filled and empty, were washed away from the HPCL bottling plant. The cylinders are swept into Raigad’s Patalganga river. The video related to this incident surfacing on social media has aroused curiosity among people.

Collector of Raigarh has appealed to the people that if anyone finds these cylinders, they should immediately hand them over to the concerned authorities or the company. The collector said that these cylinders should be deposited directly at the HPCL company or at a nearby HPCL dealer. Apart from this, they can be deposited in Tehsildar’s office or Sub-Divisional Officer’s office. The administration has appealed to the people not to keep these cylinders at home and hand them over to the company as soon as possible.
The collector said that there is no guarantee that the cylinders floating in the river are safe or not. Touching, opening or taking them home can be extremely dangerous.
