Nitish Reddy Ruled Out, Replacement Announced: All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the T20I series in Ireland and England. BCCI has announced his replacement.

The Indian cricket team suffered a setback as all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the series due to injury. In his place, all-rounder Suryansh Shedge has been included in the T20 squad. BCCI released an official statement saying that after the third ODI match against Afghanistan, Nitish had a quadriceps muscle problem. The medical team advised Nitish to complete his rehabilitation before he can start his ‘Return To Play’ protocols.

Suryansh Shedge recently played for India A in the tri series. In this series, he played 5 matches and scored 147 runs. He also scored 72 against Sri Lanka A and it was his only half-century in the entire tournament. He also took 2 wickets in the tri series. Suryansh Shedge is a batting all-rounder and bowls right-arm medium pace. Hardik Pandya is currently out of the Indian team due to injury, in his absence, Nitish was constantly getting chances in India’s playing XI. Now his injury is really a big blow for Team India. Suryansh may have to bowl more than expected on the pitches of Ireland and England.

The Indian team will first go to Ireland, where two T20 matches will be played between the two teams on June 26 and June 28. After that, Team India will leave for England, where they have to play 5 T20Is and three ODIs. Team India’s England tour will start from July 1 and will last until July 19.
