Notification Issued Regarding Regularization Of Junior Teachers: A formal notification has been issued on Thursday to regularize junior teachers (Schematic). These junior teachers will get all the facilities as assistant teachers. Regular employees will get their Level-V (A) salary in arrears i.e. from January 1. Similarly, they will be counted regularly from the day they join the job. After this decision of the state government, more than 13 thousand junior teachers in the state will benefit.
It is worth noting that the Chief Minister had announced about 6 months ago to regularize junior teachers. But since the regular notification was not published, thousands of junior teachers went on strike on the 22nd. On the 23rd, they withdrew from the protest after the Chief Minister’s Office informed them through a press release that they were being regularized.
