Petrol-Diesel Prices Have Increased, ThisTime Consumers Will Have To Pay The Price

Petrol-diesel prices incresed

Petrol-Diesel Prices Have Increased : After the increase in premium petrol prices across the country, premium diesel has also become costlier. Oil companies have increased the price of premium diesel by about Rs 1.50 per litre from Monday midnight. The decision will directly impact the common consumer.

Oil companies said that the decision has been taken in view of the decline in international crude oil prices and the exchange rate of the rupee. The increase in fuel prices has been implemented due to the continuous changes in the global situation.

The hike will put an additional burden on those involved in transport, logistics and agriculture. In Delhi, the price of premium diesel has now increased to around Rs 95 to Rs 96 per litre. Although premium diesel offers better mileage and engine performance than regular diesel, its usage may be limited due to the increased cost.

According to reports, Indian Oil Corporation Limited has increased the price of its premium fuel. As per the new rates, the price of XP100 – i.e. 100-octane petrol – has increased from Rs 149 per litre to Rs 160 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of extra green premium diesel has been increased from Rs 91.49 per litre to Rs 92.99 per litre.
