Targeting the the AAP government in Punjab, Raghav Chadha has written a long post on his X handle. The post read, ‘ AAP government in Punjab has now brought its revenge politics to the draft voter list. I am Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab and my Voter ID is registered in Mohali, Punjab. However, my name is shown as ‘shifted’ in the draft voter list.’ The draft voter list is not anyone’s private property Chadha added. Chadha has raised questions, from BLO to the Chief Electoral Officer, regarding his name classified as ‘shifted.’

The good thing is that this is only the draft voter list, not the final voter list. The names are rectified during the ‘Claims and Objections’ process, which is still ongoing. The final voter list will be published in October 2026. I am already in the process of using the remedies given under the SIR guidelines. This does not appear to be some minor clerical error. This is clearly a case of political revenge said Chadha.
