Ram Temple trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das  hospitalized

The president of the Ram Temple trust, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, has been admitted to hospital due to breathing difficulties and a urinary tract infection.

The case of alleged theft of offerings at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is in the headlines. Meanwhile the president of the temple trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been admitted the ICU on June 29 after his health deteriorated. The 88-year-old Mahant is now much better; there is no serious infection. He may be discharged from the hospital within 3 -4 days.

This is the second time this year that Das has been admitted to the hospital due to health issues. Earlier in January, he was also admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after his health deteriorated. Following treatment, he recovered and was discharged.
