Sanjay Kumar Biswal Takes Charge As Odisha I&PR Director: Senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Biswal on Saturday assumed charge as the new Director of the Information and Public Relations Department at Lok Seva Bhavan.
In a formal ceremony held in the department’s conference hall, Biswal was welcomed with bouquets by Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Kumar Behuria, Joint Secretary Kalamuddin, Additional Director Smita Kar, and Joint Director Sucheta Priyadarshini. Former Director Anuj Kumar Das Pattanaik was also extended best wishes for his new assignment. Other officials of the department greeted Biswal on his joining. In his address, the new Director sought the cooperation of all officers and staff to ensure smooth execution of departmental responsibilities.
2015 batch IAS officer, Biswal earlier served as Additional Secretary in the Commerce and Transport Department. He has also held key administrative positions in the Odisha State Transport Corporation (OSRTC) and CRUT, where he earned recognition for his efficiency and leadership.
