Students Allegedly Beaten for Not Saying ‘Good Morning’: A headmaster has been accused of brutally beating school children over not saying ‘Good Morning’. A video related to this incident is surfacing on social media which has raised serious concerns about safety of children in school.
A shocking incident has come to light from Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. The head master of Madarpur Junior School of Purva Tehsil has been accused of brutally beating the school children. Serious allegations of mental and physical harassment have also been levelled against him.
According to the relatives of the victim children, the head master engage the innocent children in his personal and non-academic work. It is also alleged that children were physically tortured failing to greet ‘Good Morning’ to teachers. Apart from this, the head master also forced the children to wash their private cars and flush the toilets. The incident came to light after children reported the brutality in school to their family. Enraged by the incident, the family and relatives met SDM Purva and filed complained against the accused head master. The relatives have demanded strict legal action against the accused head master citing the viral video. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the SDM has assured strict action after investigation.
SDM Digvijay Singh directed the district education officer to investigate the matter after taking information from the children and their parents. He has been asked to investigate the entire matter and submit a report. Such mistreatment of innocent school-going children not only affects their mental health, but also creates a fear of education in their minds.
