Netflix unveiled the first look of ‘Ikka’ while announcing its 2026 slate on February 3, 2026. The film also stars Tillotama Shome and Dia Mirza in pivotal roles. ‘Ikka’ revolves around a respected and influential lawyer who is forced to defend a murder accused—ironically, the very man whose career he had earlier destroyed. With his reputation, relationships, and personal life at stake, the lawyer must fight the case using every possible means, blurring the line between right and wrong.

Both actors have enjoyed major successes recently. Akshaye Khanna was last seen in Dhurandhar, which went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema. Sunny Deol, riding high on the massive success of Gadar 2, was recently seen in Border 2, which continues to perform strongly at the box office. Interestingly, the duo previously appeared together in the iconic 1997 war film Border, making their reunion even more special for fans.
Speaking about the project, the makers of Ikka said they are thrilled to present their second Netflix original after Maharaj. They described Ikka as a deeply personal story that has been developed over several years and promises a gripping face-off between two sworn enemies bound by a painful shared past. The film is set to release soon on Netflix and is expected to be a major highlight of the platform’s 2026 lineup.
