Team India Suffers Setback Ahead Of T20 World Cup Team India has suffered a big setback ahead of the T20 World Cup. T20 squad’s star batsman Tilak Verma has been injured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. After which he underwent surgery. Tilak Verma was captaining Hyderabad in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Tilak Verma suffered a testicular injury during a match against West Bengal in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. After this, he was immediately taken to the hospital. After a scan here, the doctor suggested surgery. Tilak Verma’s surgery was successful. But now the question is, will Tilak Verma recover completely before the T20 World Cup?

Team India will play a T20 series against New Zealand this month. After that, they will play the T20 World Cup from February 7. Tilak Verma is an important player for Team India in both these events. But after the surgery, there is suspense about Tilak Verma’s playing. So, Tilak may be out of the field for 3/4 weeks.

The India-New Zealand T20 series will begin on February 21. The first T20 will be played in Nagpur. The second T20 will be played in Raipur on January 23. The third T20 will be played in Guwahati on January 26. The fourth T20 will be played on January 28. The last match of the T20 will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on January 31.
