US Open 2026: Aryna Sabalenka beats Linda Noskova, advances to semi-finals: Top seed Aryna Sabalenka has advanced to the semi-finals. She sixth seed Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic Linda Noskova 7–6(1), 3–6, 7–6(7) in a thrilling quarter-final on Tuesday.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka kept alive her hopes of winning a third US Open title in a row. The quarter-final match was played at Arthur Ashe Stadium. According to the WTA website, the top seed won the hard-fought quarterfinal in two hours and 22 minutes to extend her streak at the US Open to 18 matches. Sabalenka has now reached her sixth consecutive US Open semifinal and 15th Grand Slam semifinal overall. She is just two wins away from becoming the first woman since Serena Williams (who won three consecutive US Open titles from 2012 to 2014) to achieve the feat in New York.

The match was the first meeting between the reigning Grand Slam champions since the Miami final and the first between two top 10 players at this year’s US Open. Sabalenka will next face third-seeded Jessica Pegula in the US Open 2026 women’s singles semifinals on Thursday.
