Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed once again, scoring a brilliant 96 runs and helping his team post 214 runs. However, Rajasthan lost the match by 7 wickets.
After the defeat, the 15-year-old looked emotional and was seen in tears. Ravindra Jadeja spoke to him on the field, while Shubman Gill was also seen chatting with him after the match.
Vaibhav had an outstanding season, scoring 776 runs in 16 matches at an average of 48.50. He hit 63 fours and 72 sixes, setting a new record for the most sixes in a single IPL season. He also became the youngest player to score over 500 runs in an IPL season and set a record for the most Powerplay runs in a season.
