Amid Iran War Tensions, India Issues Strict Advisory for Citizens
War Tensions Rise: India Issues Strict Travel Guidelines for Citizens in Iran: As tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East following the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, the Indian government has issued a fresh advisory to ensure the safety of its citizens in the region.
The Embassy of India, Tehran released a statement on Monday urging Indian nationals not to travel to any land border of Iran without prior coordination with the embassy. Officials emphasized that citizens should follow embassy guidance before attempting to leave the country.
According to the advisory, Indians in Iran should avoid moving toward border crossing points unless they receive clear instructions from the embassy. Authorities warned that if individuals exit Iranian territory and fail to enter another country, the embassy may not be able to assist them further.
The situation comes as the conflict, which began after joint strikes by the United States and Israel on February 28, continues to escalate. In response, Iran launched retaliatory drone and missile attacks, increasing tensions across the region. The confrontation has now continued for around ten days, raising fears of wider instability in the Middle East.

Iranian officials say the strikes against them have threatened the country’s security. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqai claimed that missiles fired from neighboring territories and the use of regional airspace by American fighter jets are putting regional stability at risk.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Iran’s actions, especially attacks targeting Gulf Cooperation Council countries and oil facilities. The Saudi Foreign Ministry described the strikes as a serious escalation and said they violate international law.
Saudi authorities also warned that such actions could damage relations with neighboring countries and could ultimately lead to greater losses for Iran itself.
As the crisis continues, governments around the world are closely monitoring the situation while urging their citizens in the region to remain cautious and follow official advisories.
