The women’s singles final at Wimbledon 2026 was played on July 11 at the Centre Court of the All England Club between two tennis players from the Czech Republic, Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova. In the three-set final match, 21-year-old Linda Noskova won her first career Grand Slam title with a 2-1 win. Noskova dominated the first set of the match, taking a 6-2 lead in just 32 minutes to take a 1-0 lead in the match. After this, in the second set, Karolina Muchova returned to the match with a strong fight against Noskova and tied the match at 1-1 by winning the second set with a margin of 7-5.
Linda Noskova also received around Rs 38.5 crore as prize money for winning the Wimbledon 2026 women’s singles title. All eyes are now on the men’s final at Wimbledon 2026, where World No. 1 Jannik Siner will face World No. 2 Alexander Zverev in the title clash on July 12 at 8:30 PM IST.
