1644 Vacancies In Railway , Selection Without Examination… Opportunity For 10th Pass : Young people dreaming of a job with the Indian Railways have a unique opportunity. The South East Central Railway (SECR) has released a notification for the recruitment of trade apprentices for the year 2026-2027. This recruitment process will fill a total of 1,644 positions, for which no examination is required. Selection will be based on merit. This recruitment process will cover various positions, including fitter, electrician, welder, mechanic, and stenographer.
What is the eligibility to apply for the post?
To apply for this position, candidates must meet certain requirements. First, they must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 50% marks. Along with the 10th grade, an ITI certificate in the relevant trade is also mandatory. An age limit has also been set for the position. Selection will be done without examination
There will be no exam or interview for this recruitment. Candidates will be selected based on merit. Equal weighting will be given to 10th-grade marks and ITI marks. The average percentage will be calculated based on the two scores. Based on this, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and a medical test.
