190 EV Charging Stations To Be Set Up In Odisha 6 Cities In The First Phase : EV charging stations to be set up in Odisha. Efforts have been started to increase the capacity of charging stations in densely populated areas through the Prime Minister’s E-Drive. In this regard, a special team of Heavy Electrical Limited is visiting various places in the state to select suitable places. Especially, they are visiting NH, religious places, government offices and crowded places. In the first phase, the team is preparing a report to set up 190 charging stations in six cities of the state like Angul, Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.

This will strengthen the EV ecosystem and people will not be afraid to go out with EVs without fear. There will be no fear of charging stations. A path will be paved for achieving the goal of environmental protection and zero net emissions. In this regard, in the next 7 days, the State Transport Department along with PWCO Rahagiri Foundation will conduct a site survey and prepare a report.
