Free School Bags for Sishu Vatika to Class 3: Odisha government has decided to distribute free school bags to all students from Sishu Vatika to class 3 in government schools across the state. The initiative aims to support young learners and ensure they have the necessary educational materials for the academic year.
The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) on Thursday has issued a letter to all District Education Officers(DEOs) and District Project Coordinators(DCPs), instructing them to take necessary steps for early distribution of bags. The school bags will be supplied by the Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC) at respective block points for further distribution to schools.
Two different sizes of school bags have been arranged according to age group. Size-I bags are meant for students of Sishu Vatika to Class I, while Size-II bags are for students of Class II and Class III. Officials have been instructed to verify materials as per approved indents and report any discrepancies immediately.
