Rajasthan civic polls 2026: Nomination process begins, AAP announces 11 candidates list: The nomination process for the civic body elections in Rajasthan has begun today. The nominations will be accepted till August 31. A total of 28 lakh 25 thousand 46 voters will elect their government. Along with this the Aam Aadmi Party has announced the names of its 11 candidates for Jaipur Municipal Corporation Elections.
Nominations for Rajasthan civic body elections are open from today in 309 municipal bodies, including 10 Municipal Corporations, 51 Municipal Councils and 248 Municipalities. Elections for the posts of members will be held in two phases, of which the first phase will be held on September 9 and the second phase will be held on September 11.
Jaipur district president Amit Dadhich and district election in-charge Archit Goyal have released the first list of candidates after the permission of Aam Aadmi Party election in-charge Devendra Shastri. in which the party has announced the names of candidates in one ward each of eight assembly constituencies of Jaipur city.
