Neeraj Chopra Qualifies For Diamond League: Two- time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the Diamond League Final. Despite participating in only two of the season’s five meetings, he managed to secure a spot in the six-man final. The Diamond League Final will be held in Brussels on September 4 and 5.

The winner gets 8 points while 8th rank athlete gets only 1 point. After end of the qualification series 6 athletes scoring maximum points qualify for the final. Neeraj finished second in the Lausanne Diamond League with an 88.05m throw, his season best, on August 21. He opened his season at the Doha Diamond League with a fourth-place finish, managing a best of 85.69m.
