Tower worker tied to pole, video goes viral: Frustrated villagers tied a tower worker to a pole over network issues. A video of the incident went viral on social media and police investigations are underway.
The shocking incident has come to light from Hardauli village under Bindki police station limits in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. It is reported that the villagers were experiencing mobile network issues for a long time. On Thursday evening a tower worker arrived village for repairing work. Following this the enraged villagers tied the worker with the pole within the tower premises. After receiving the information police reached the spot and started investigation.
According to villagers a telecom company’s mobile tower was installed in Hardauli village two years ago. Following which the villagers hoped that network issue will be solved. They can make calls and access internet facility. But for past few months they are facing network issues alleged villagers. Therefore out of rage they tied the tower worker with the pole. The video of this incident is surfacing on social media.
Bindki police station in-charge Shailesh Singh stated that the case is being investigated based on the viral video. Police are trying to determine what happened during the incident and who was involved. Further action will be taken based on the investigation.
