Shocking Incident In Pattamundai : A shocking incident took place in Damarpur village under Pattamundai rural police station. An attempt was made to burn the daughter-in-law to death because she had a daughter. The daughter-in-law and granddaughter exchanged glances. Late last night, while the daughter-in-law was sleeping, the father-in-law bought a liter of petrol from the village square, poured it on the bed and set it on fire.
When all the furniture in the house was burnt, the daughter-in-law escaped and spent the night outside. According to information, Sasmita Das of Nishchint Koili Balipada village married Sushant Ray of Pattamundai Damarpur village 8 years ago. Sushant had two daughters from his first wife. Since the second wife had a daughter, she was repeatedly tortured physically and mentally by her mother-in-law, father-in-law and husband.
