Wife conspired husband’s murder, held after 11 months: In a shocking incident wife killed her husband with her lover. Later distanced herself from lover and married another person. A reward of Rs 25,000 was announced for her(accused wife) arrest.
The shocking incident has come to light from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, Sain Begum alias Saina did second marriage with Riyasat. He was a resident of Bhatiyana village in Hapur district living with his family. During this time Riyasat’s wife was carried on an affair with the neighbor named Sarim alias Kata. Later when Riyasat learnt about his wife’s affair and opposed it. This led to dispute within the family.
Sain and Sarim hatched a plan to kill Riyasat. On November 25, 2025 evening when Riyasat saw Sarim in his home a heated argument took place between them. During this time Sarim attacked Riyasat with knife causing him serious injuries and died on the spot. Sain also allegedly assisted Sarim, her lover, in carrying out the assault. Following the incident both fled away. But there came a twist when later Sain distanced herself from Sarim and remarried a young man from Muzaffarnagar.
Meanwhile, Riyasat’s brother Israr, filed a case against Sain and Sarim at Baghpat police station. The police began investigating the case and launched raids to search for two accused. Police has announced a reward of Rs 25, 000 on both accused. Shortly thereafter, Sarim surrendered in the court.

Nearly 11 months later, the Baghpat police have arrested Sain. Police produced her in court, where she was sent to jail in judicial custody. Even after Sain’s arrest, her family were pressuring us to reach a compromise and settle the case, said Israr. They are also receiving threats. Therefore, Israr demanded police to take action against those making the threats and provide security to the family.
