A 4-year-old sexually assaulted by neighbour, accused arrested: Police has arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 4-year-old in Maharashtra’s Thane district. Based on the complaint and FIR, the police have taken legal actions against the accused.
The shocking incident has come to light from Dombivali township of Thane district. The accused has been identified as a 85-year-old neighbor. According to police, the 4-year-old girl was playing outside her home. While her mother was busy in household chores. Taking advantage of this situation, the accused lured the girl and brought her to his house. There he allegedly sexually assaulted her. In the meanwhile mother searched for her child after found missing nearby. While looking out in accused neighbour’s home, she found her daughter. Then subsequently mother reported the matter to the Dombivali, Ram Nagar police station and filed an FIR.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case under various sections against the accused. The accused was subsequently arrested. Police announced the incident on Wednesday. Further investigations are on in this matter.
