Fight over parking: Woman stabbed to death, husband injured, 1 detained : A woman was stabbed to death over parking argument in Delhi. The husband is also seriously injured in this incident and is undergoing treatment in a hospital. Police investigation is underway.
The incident took place in Sector 3 JJ colony under the Bindapur police station limits of Dwarka district. The incident was reported on Saturday at 2:50 pm after a caller informed police that 2-3 boys had stabbed his daughter(Arti) and son-in-law(Vicky) with a sharp knife in the stomach. Before police arrived at the spot, the injured were taken to the Deen Dyal Upadhyay hospital. Doctors declared Arti dead, police said.
During the preliminary enquiry, the police found that the couple had got into a fight with their neighbours over parking a motorcycle on the road. The fight turned fierce, following which Arti and Vicky were stabbed with a sharp knife. Police identified the attackers as Pappu(40) and a juvenile. Pappu has been detained, and investigations are underway to trace the minor.
