SOG Jawans And Officers Allowances Increased
Increased allowance of SOG jawans and officers. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced an increase in the risk allowance of Special Operation Group-SOG jawans and officers. The allowance will be increased to Rs 25,000 from this December. SOG officers directly engaged in the Naxal suppression campaign will get a maximum monthly allowance of Rs 25,000, Subedars and Deputy Subedars will get Rs 24,000, Havildars 20,000, Constables and Sepoys will get Rs 16,000 per month.
Similarly, SOG, AET and RC officers and staff, even if they are not directly involved in the campaign, will get a maximum monthly allowance of Rs 12,000 if they are on training and other duties. The Chief Minister has announced an allowance of Rs 10,000 for the employees of the District Volunteer Force and Rs 20,000 for the employees of the SIW Special Intelligence Wing. The Chief Minister made this announcement on the occasion of the inauguration of the new training and briefing center of SOG Chandakar and the state-of-the-art anti-terrorism training center.
In this, 400 jawans can be trained at the same time. Along with this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated projects such as 16 police stations, 70 quarters, office buildings, barracks, armoury, administrative buildings, etc. in 16 districts. DG Police Yogesh Bahadur Khurania participated in this program.
