Army Vehicle Falls Into Ditch: A terrible accident has taken place in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. An army truck fell into a deep gorge while passing through the area, killing 10 soldiers and injuring 10 others. The accident took place when the army’s tanker truck was travelling on the Bhaderwah-Chamba road in Doda. It is being reported that the tanker truck fell into a deep gorge of about 200 feet. Rescue operations are underway to rescue the soldiers and the rescue teams are working at a fast pace. An official said that after receiving information about the incident, rescue and relief teams were immediately sent to the spot. The injured soldiers were taken out from the accident site and taken to a nearby medical facility where the condition of three soldiers is said to be critical.

The army vehicle was heading towards a high-altitude post when the driver lost control and fell into a 200-foot gorge. The security situation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district is currently sensitive. Terrorist activities and security forces’ operations have increased after the accident. There is growing concern about the presence of terrorists in Doda district, especially in the mountainous and forested areas. According to intelligence reports, 30 to 35 Pakistani -origin terrorists may be active and hiding in the forests in Doda and neighboring Kishtwar district.
