Security Breach at Ayodhya Ram Temple: Youth Detained Near Southern Wall, Probe Underway
Ayodhya Ram Temple Security Alert: Man Held for Trying to Offer Namaz Inside Premises: A potential security lapse was reported at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya after a youth was detained by security personnel while attempting to offer prayers near the southern wall of the complex. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Sita Rasoi, a sensitive area within the temple premises, prompting heightened alert among security agencies.
According to sources, the youth entered the Ram Temple complex through the D1 gate, reportedly wearing Kashmiri attire. When security personnel stopped him from offering prayers in the restricted area, he allegedly raised slogans, following which he was immediately taken into custody by the forces deployed at the site.
The detained individual has been identified as Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Shopian district in Kashmir. Intelligence agencies and local police have launched a detailed investigation to ascertain his intentions and to examine all possible angles related to the incident, given the high-security nature of the Ram Temple complex.
So far, no official statement has been issued by the district administration regarding the incident. The Ram Temple Trust has also refrained from commenting, maintaining silence amid ongoing investigations. Security agencies have stated that the matter is being handled with utmost sensitivity.
Meanwhile, in a related administrative development, authorities in Ayodhya have decided to impose a ban on the sale of meat and liquor in the city. A stern warning has been issued to shopkeepers and establishments, with officials stating that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the order.
Security arrangements in and around the Ram Temple complex have been further reviewed as investigations continue.
