Bhoot Bangla Registers Strong Opening, Earns ₹23.9 Crore Worldwide on Day 1
Bhoot Bangla Box Office Collection Day 1: ₹15.75 Crore Net in India: Bhoot Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has made a solid start at the box office after its release on April 17, 2026. The film marks the much-awaited reunion of the actor-director duo after 14 years and has opened to strong numbers.
The horror-comedy performed slightly above trade expectations, which had predicted an opening of around ₹15 crore. The film also benefits from advance paid previews held a day before release.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features a strong supporting cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Vamika Gabbi, Mithila Palkar and veteran Asrani.
