Security Breach at Delhi Assembly, Accused Arrested
Big Security Lapse at Delhi Assembly, Car Reaches Inside: A security breach was reported at the Delhi Assembly when a car broke through a gate and entered the premises. The vehicle came in through Gate No. 2 and later escaped.
According to officials, the vehicle entered through the VIP gate around 2:00 pm, placed a bouquet of flowers and some papers near the Speaker’s car, and then exited from the same gate. The car, which had a Uttar Pradesh registration number, reportedly damaged the iron gate while entering. The Delhi Police later tracked down the vehicle, arrested the suspect, and recovered the car. An investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the incident.
This incident has raised concerns, especially after the 2023 Indian Parliament security breach, when protesters entered Parliament and released colored smoke inside the House.
