The old days of cooking gas are back

The Indian government has made it clear that no matter how much unrest there is in the world, your family’s cooking budget and gas supply will not be affected. The government has given such discounts on gas cylinders that it seems that the old days are coming back soon.
In a high-level meeting in Delhi, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Sujata Sharma made an important promise to the nation. She said that the government has increased domestic LPG production significantly so that the crisis abroad does not affect the pockets of the common man. The best part is that the last date for gas booking has also been extended, so whether you are in the city or the village, you will no longer have to rush for booking. The government said that there is no shortage of stock at any gas agency in any corner of the country and the supply is completely stable.
To check gas black marketing and misuse, the government is now implementing the Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) system. Sujata Sharma informed that the government had set a target to increase the usage of this system to 90 percent, but fortunately, we have already reached 92 percent. This means that gas cylinders will now be delivered directly to the right recipient, which will eliminate any bottlenecks. Apart from this, commercial gas supply has also been restored to 70 percent capacity, which is a major relief for businesses. The demand for small cylinders has also increased. Based on the data of the last few days, the sale of small cylinders of 5 kg has increased significantly.
The government is also fully prepared to ensure the safety of oil and gas coming by sea. In a major update, Director General of the Ministry of Shipping, Mandeep Singh Randhawa, said that the Indian ship “Desh Garima”, carrying 97,000 metric tonnes of crude oil, is completely safe. The ship recently passed through the Strait of Hormuz without any hindrance. Although there were some incidents of gunfire in the area in the last 48 hours, involving two Indian ships, Sanmar Herald and Jag Arnab, no crew members were injured and all are safe.
