Use of mobile phones is completely banned in Kedarnath temple
Kedarnath Temple Bans Mobile Phone : Now No Photos, Videos Or Reels Allowed Inside : The doors of Baba Kedarnath in Uttarakhand will open tomorrow. Earlier, the temple committee has banned mobile phones in the temple premises. People going to Kedarnath with mobile phones will now not be able to take any kind of photos or reels. If any person does this, then action will be taken against him.
However, this decision has been taken a day before the opening of Kedarnath gate. Kedarnath Dham gate will open on April 22 at 8 am. Before this, the devotees have started the pilgrimage. Baba Kedar’s doli has started leaving from Gaurikund. By the time Kedarnath gate opens, the devotees will have reached the shrine. Kedarnath gate will remain open from April 22 to November 11.
Reason Behind the Decision
Temple Management Committee member Vinit Posti said, “The use of mobile phones has now been banned inside the Kedarnath temple premises. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the sanctity of the temple and the convenience of the devotees. Taking mobile phones, taking photos or videos, and making reels inside the temple premises has been completely banned. If any devotee does this, then action will be taken against him.”
Strict Warning for Rule Violations
Authorities have made it clear that this is a zero-tolerance policy. Any devotee found breaking the rules will face legal action. Officials have urged pilgrims to follow the guidelines and cooperate with temple staff to ensure a respectful and smooth darshan experience for everyone.
