Census Begins In The Country Today : The census will start in the country from today. The census is being conducted after 16 years. You can provide your family details sitting at home. For the first time, a caste-based census. After a long wait, the 16th national census of the country will begin. This is the first census after 2011 and it will be conducted completely digitally. For this, the government is spending about Rs 11,718 crore. The census will be conducted in two phases.
The first phase of the census will be conducted between April 1 and September 30. It will include a list of houses and the amenities available in them. For the first time, citizens can go to the se.census.gov.in portal and provide their information online in 16 languages, including Odia. For those who do not provide their information online, trained staff will come to your home with a mobile app. No identity card or document is required for this. Around 33 questions will be asked on the condition of the house, drinking water, electricity, cooking gas, internet and toilet.
Similarly, the second phase of the census will be held in February next year. In this, personal data such as age, education, and economic status will be counted. In this phase, caste-based data will also be collected for the first time after independence. All the data will be collected through a mobile app, so that the results will be published very soon. In this, the personal data of the person will be completely safe. It will be used only for the preparation of government schemes.
