CM Inaugurates One District, One Product Gallery In Dubai: Showcasing Odisha’s rich heritage, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the One District, One Product (ODOP) Gallery in Dubai. The global showcase aims to create new markets for these products, strengthen women-led entrepreneurship and local livelihoods, and open greater export opportunities.
The gallery features a diverse range of Odisha’s unique products, including Sambalpuri Sarees from Sambalpur, Maniabandha Handloom (Kataka), Silver Filigree(Kataka), Dongria Shawl(Rayagada), Terracotta Idols(Kendujhar), Black Granite Sculptures(Baleshwar, Pattachitra and Palm Leaf Engraving products(Puri). The exhibition highlights the craftsmanship, cultural identity and traditional skills of Odisha’s artisans.
The Chief Minister emphasised the vision of taking Odisha’s traditional products ‘from local to global’, with greater market access, value addition and international recognition for the state’s artisans and entrepreneurs. The ODOP Gallery thus presents Odisha’s heritage not just as a cultural treasure, but as an emerging opportunity for entrepreneurship, employment and global trade.
