Major Cabinet Expansion in Karnataka: Shivakumar Administers Oath to New Ministers
D. K. Shivakumar Oath Ceremony: See the Full List of New Ministers: A major political reshuffle took place in Karnataka as D. K. Shivakumar took oath as the new Chief Minister during a ceremony on Wednesday. G. Parameshwara was also sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister in the new cabinet.
Ahead of the ceremony, former CM Siddaramaiah welcomed Shivakumar with a bouquet. Senior leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi were also present.
A total of 13 new ministers were inducted into the cabinet: Veteran leader K.H. Muniyappa also took oath as a minister. He is a senior Congress leader from the SC community and has been elected seven times as an MP from Kolar. He has also served as Union Minister for Food and Supplies and is now an MLA from Devanahalli.

Patil, Ramalinga Reddy, Satish Jarkiholi, Krishna Byre Gowda, Priyank Kharge, U.T. Khader, Eshwar Khandre, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Byrathi Suresh, and Sharan Prakash Patil.
