Delhi HC received bomb threat, police on alert mode: The Delhi High Court on Friday received a bomb threat via email. Following the information, security agencies were alerted, and security was increased within and outside the court premises. In the initial investigation, no suspicious objects have been found.
A day before August 15, there has been a stir in Delhi due to the bomb threat. Many government and important places including Red Fort, Delhi High Court, Terminal-3 of IGI Airport received bomb threat. The threatening e-mail also mentions the time of blasts in Delhi High Court and District Court. Delhi Metro and Ambala bound trains have also been threatened. After receiving the information, the security agencies were alerted and security was increased at the concerned places.
Actually, a threatening e-mail was received in the name of Khalistan. It is claimed that the explosion will happen at 2:11 pm in the Delhi High Court. At the same time, a blast threat has been issued in the district court at 3:11 pm. The e-mail message reads – ‘Delhi Banayga Khalistan’.
