The actress said that her mother has been admitted to the hospital suffering from persistent abdominal pain. She assured the fans that there is nothing to worry about. Her mother is undergoing several tests to find out the exact cause of the problem.
Dipika has shared a video from the hospital ward, in which the mother of the actress is seen resting on the hospital bed. In the video, the actress said, ‘I am in the hospital ward because my mother has been admitted. She was experiencing persistent abdominal pain for the past few days.’ Initially, the family thought it was a case of food poisoning. After consulting the doctor, a few tests, including sonography, were conducted, but the reports revealed nothing. Even after starting antibiotics, the pain did not subside, said the actress. Meanwhile, the actress revealed that her mother was admitted to the hospital on July 13 and has undergone a CT Scan and several tests.
Talking about Dipika, she was diagnosed with second-stage liver cancer in 2025. When her stomach pain worsened, she was diagnosed with this disease. She had a 2-tennis-ball-sized tumor in her liver. 22% of the liver was surgically removed. In addition, in 2026, a 13mm lump was found in his abdomen, which underwent a procedure. Now she visits the hospital at regular intervals for her checkup.
