Friday OTT Release: 7 movies and web series you shouldn’t miss: This Friday is a bit more special for OTT lovers. Many new movies and series and movies have been released on digital platforms like Netflix, Prime Video to Jio Hotstar. These range from War Drama to Crime Thriller and New Originals. So, take a look at all the new OTT releases this Friday.
1. Operation Safed Sagar: Patriotism and War-Action based drama movie features the story of India Air Force’s air campaign during the 1999 Kargil War. The story revolves around bravery of unsung heroes. The series stars Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill and Abhay Verma in lead roles. It is streaming on OTT platform Netflix.
2. Main Wapas Aayunga: Imtiaz Ali’s emotional romantic drama film won the hearts of the audience during its theatrical run. Naseeruddin Shah, Sharwari, Vedang Raina and Diljit Dosanjh have played key roles in the film. It has started streaming on OTT platform Netflix.
3. Lenin: Telugu action drama film, set against the backdrop of 1976, follows the journey of an orphan named Lenin (Akhil Akkineni). After being adopted by the village leader, Jayanthi, her life becomes entangled in local animosity, leading to a bloody conflict. This film also performed well during its theatrical run. Now it has started streaming on G5 from Friday, 7th August.
4. ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’: A Marathi adaptation of the Kannada hit film ‘Su From So’ (2025), ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ is a blend of horror, comedy and drama. Its story revolves around Keshav (Om Bhutkar), who tries to pretend to be the shadow of a ghost, but the attempt soon turns into a strange situation, leading to an atmosphere of superstition, confusion and chaos. It is also available for streaming on G5 from Friday.
5. Our sticky love: It is a 12-episode romantic K-drama starring Jang Hae-in as Jang Tae-ha and Ha-young as Go Eun-se.
