Apart from Perplexity, OpenAI’s agentic browser ALTAS is also in the news. Of course, it is an experimental browser. However, it is an agentic browser. Here too, you only have to give commands, it will do everything on its own. ALTAS can do many important things. Google does not want to be left behind in this race. Google has integrated Gemini into its Chrome. After the launch of this feature, it will work like an agentic browser. Google Chrome will become a small digital assistant.

In the tech world, this is called Auto Browse or AI Agent feature. In simple terms, if you tell Chrome to book a ticket from any website, then AI will be able to recognize the page, recognize the buttons, and fill in the necessary information and proceed with the booking process. Meaning, less time, less effort, more work and faster. Such an update from Google will be helpful for those who are afraid of doing anything online.
Google AI will only work if the user gives permission. This means that Google will not fill out any form or make payments without your command. Users will have control at every step. It will not share any data without your permission. Google is currently testing this feature. It is being implemented slowly for a select number of users. In the future, this feature will be available to everyone.
