Maharashtra TET paper leaked, exam postponed: The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET 2026) question paper has been leaked. Now, the exam is postponed, which was scheduled to be held on 28 June.

Thane Police has claimed to have recovered the exam question paper after conducting a raid in the Bhiwandi area based on secret information. Many suspects have been detained in this case. After this incident, a decision can be taken to cancel the exam. The decision comes amid serious allegations that questions linked to the exam were recovered from individuals in the Thane district.

Officials said the Education Department is currently verifying whether the recovered material is the actual TET question paper or only a mock test paper. A final decision on the situation will depend on this verification process. Sources said the Education Department will soon issue a press note detailing the incident. The department is also expected to announce the revised examination schedule after the official decision is taken.

A case has been registered at the Bhiwandi police station, and a detailed investigation has been launched to determine the source and extent of the alleged leak.
