Man stabs ex- girlfriend in office, CCTV footage goes viral: A young woman was stabbed to death by his ex- boyfriend in Mohali. After the incident, the accused also tried to commit suicide. Now the accused is undergoing treatment in hospital.
The victim has been identified as Dimple, 29, from Patiala and the accused, Harjinder Singh Mann alias Harry aged 39. The police have arrested one of his colleagues in the initial investigation of the incident.
The incident took place on Thursday in Phase 11 of Sector 66, Mohali, police said. As per the office CCTV footage, the accused was seen approaching the victim’s desk from behind while she was working. He dragged by her hair and kept stabbing her several times with a sharp knife. Police said Dimple was stabbed 25 to 30 times by Harry. Later, Harry tried to attempt suicide. This CCTV footage is going viral on social media.
According to reports, Harry and Dimple were in a relationship for more than 3 years. They broke up a few months ago. Since then, Harvinder was mentally disturbed. He was trying to reconnect with Dimple but failed.
