Ram Charan’s latest film ‘Peddi’ crosses 100 crore worldwide. Wife Upasana is seen celebrating with fans.
Upasana Konidela celebrated ‘Peddi’s success: Telugu superstar Ram Charan is capturing the spotlight once again. Ram Charan’s latest film ‘Peddi’ had a great start at the box office. The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide on its opening day.
Amid the film’s successful opening, Ram Charan’s wife and entrepreneur Upasana Konidela was seen celebrating her husband’s achievement with his fans. The video is now going viral on social media. Upasana is seen cutting a huge customised cake which has “Peddi Blockbuster” written on it. The cake also had five stars, hinting at the positive response the movie has received from the audience.
At the box office, Peddi has delivered one of the biggest openings of the year. According to early estimates, the film earned around ₹69 crore in India on its opening day. It also performed strongly in international markets, taking its worldwide opening-day collection to approximately ₹112.49 crore. Earlier, Upasana Konidela, along with her family, was also spotted at a special screening of ‘Peddi’ in Hyderabad.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports action drama centred on Peddi, played by Ram Charan, a talented hired cricketer from a neglected village in Vizianagaram. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani in key roles.
