Nitin Naveen took charge as the new national president of BJP. After being formally announced as the 12th national president of BJP, he was given a warm welcome at the party headquarters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and many senior leaders were present at the event. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi also attended the event. 45-year-old Nitin Naveen is the youngest president in the history of BJP.
Nitin filed his nomination as the sole candidate for the post of BJP President. He was accompanied by heavyweight leaders like Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Dharmendra Pradhan while filing his nomination.
The tenure of Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda ended after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Nitin Naveen was chosen as Nadda’s alternative. 45-year-old Nitin Naveen has been associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the RSS for many years. He started his career as a worker in the BJP.
