Mamata Banerjee Changes X Bio, Still Uses ‘CM’ Instead of ‘Former CM’

No ‘Former CM’ Mention in Mamata Banerjee’s Latest X Bio Update: In a dramatic political development in West Bengal, the BJP secured a massive victory in the Assembly elections, winning 207 out of 293 seats and ending the Trinamool Congress government’s long rule in the state. Following the results, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari was sworn in as the new Chief Minister. However, former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reportedly refused to step down immediately, leading to a constitutional and political standoff in the state.

Amid the political turmoil, Mamata Banerjee updated her social media profiles by removing the description “Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal.” She instead described herself as the founding president of the All India Trinamool Congress and former Chief Minister of the 15th, 16th, and 17th Legislative Assemblies. Banerjee also alleged widespread irregularities in the election process, claiming that manipulation and rigging affected nearly 100 constituencies. The Election Commission and BJP leaders strongly rejected the allegations.
