Odisha IAS Reshufle: Chitra Arumugam and Dodda Venkata Swamy assigned new responsibilities: The Odisha government announced a minor IAS reshuffle. Two senior IAS officers have been assigned new responsibilities.
Senior IAS officer Chithra Arumugam (1995 batch) has been appointed as the Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.Arumugam will also hold the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Science & Technology Department. She was earlier working as the Additional Chief Secretary to Labour & ESI Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Science and Technology Department and Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.
Dodda Venkata Swamy, a 2001-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Labour & ESI Department upon return from the central deputation.
The latest reshuffle reflects the state’s focus on enhancing governance, leadership development and labour welfare administration by assigning experienced officers to strategic positions.
