SJTA Secures Trademark Approval For Jagannath Dham: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has taken a significant step forward in its initiative to secure trademark protection. Five more trademark applications have cleared the second stage of the registration process. The move is expected to safeguard the sacred traditions and heritage of the Jagannath Temple.
Chief Administrator of SJTA Arabinda Padhee informed on X that five crucial applications have been approved for publication in the upcoming Trademark Journal. These include:
1. Jagannath Dham
2. Shreekhetra
3. Mahaprasad
4. Nilachakra
5. Koili Baikuntha
Officials said the move is aimed at preventing unauthorised commercial use of names and symbols deeply associated with the temple’s spiritual and cultural identity.
