TATA IPL 2026, Match 50: LSG Defeated RCB By 9 Runs: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended their home losing streak with a thrilling 9-run victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a rain-affected match at the Ekana Stadium. LSG, batting first, posted a strong total of 209/3 in 19 overs, powered by a brilliant century from Mitchell Marsh. He scored 111 runs off 56 balls, while Nicholas Pooran and Rishabh Pant also contributed quick runs to push the score past 200.

In reply, RCB had a poor start as they lost Virat Kohli for a duck and another early wicket, but captain Rajat Patidar and Devdutt Padikkal rebuilt the innings with a solid partnership. Patidar led the fight with a quick half-century, keeping RCB in the chase. However, regular wickets in the middle overs slowed their momentum.

Despite a late surge from Tim David, RCB fell short in the final over, needing 20 runs but managing only 10. They finished at 203/8, giving LSG a narrow 9-run win. Mitchell Marsh was named Player of the Match for his match-winning century.
