Thalapathy Vijay@52, Rahul Gandhi extends wishes in a special way: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief Thalapati Vijay is celebrating his 52nd birthday. Leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha and senior leader of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, has specially congratulated him.
Rahul Gandhi in ‘X’ post wrote, ‘Happy birthday to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Joseph Vijay. I wish you good health and success in all your endeavours. I stand with you in protecting the rights, dignity and aspirations of the Tamil people and working together for the progress of the state.’
It is worth mentioning that the relationship between Rahul Gandhi and Thalapati Vijay is very strong. In the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the Congress had contested the elections together with the DMK. But after the election results, when Vijay’s TVK emerged as the largest party and won 108 seats, the Congress was the first to announce its support for 5 of its MLAs.
Thalapati Vijay wants a good relationship with the Congress in the future as well. It can also be understood that for the Rajya Sabha election, TVK had given a Rajya Sabha seat to the Congress, on which the Congress has sent Praveen Chakraborty to the Rajya Sabha. Praveen Chakraborty is a banker who formally joined the party in 2017. At present, he is the president of Congress’ professional wing and data analytics wing.
